Ed is a strawberry farmer in Hagerstown, Indiana. Ed was seriously injured in a violent crime attack and left paralyzed from the chest down. That didn’t stop him from becoming an incredible Ag Advocate, especially for farmers with physical disabilities. He and his family grow some of the best strawberries in the state of Indiana and Ed is always there with a smile and words of encouragement for everyone that visits his farm.

At 21 years old Jaxson’s foundation fell out from under him. He lost his Father and Grandfather within six weeks of each other. Most 21-year-olds would be lost, but not Jaxson. He only knew one thing to do… Carry on his fathers and grandfather’s legacy. Now on his second season alone, Jaxson is showing the kind of resolve and Indiana farmer is made of… and he is doing it all by himself.

Some might see Kyle’s muscular dystrophy as a disadvantage, but for the farmers in East Central Indiana, he is their superman coming to save their crops from pests like insects and fungus! Kyle might be on the ground in a wheelchair, but his passion for Agriculture allows him to soar!

Darren and Kristine are Amish farmers who have really tapped into the specialty milk market. The dairy on the verge of closure was transformed into what it is today, offering unique milk flavors and always being a local source. The Stutzman’s chose to pivot and keep their legacy of dairy farming alive.
